In Hania's own words:
"The track was inspired by one of the most famous carols in the world - "Stille Nacht" composed and performed originally in 1818 in Salzburg in Austria during Christmas Eve. I composed this track when working on a music to a theater play "Nora" based on a drama written by norwegian writer - Henrik Ibsen. The story takes place around Christmas, but instead of moments of joy, the characters are accompanied by tension, loneliness and lack of understanding. I improvised a song that could accompany those bitter moments happening during one of the most wonderful days of the year.
My improvisation is mixed with different feelings - peace and quietness stand near by sadness and solitude. I played this piece only once and the recording includes an original, uncut performance of my improvisation. Although the famous theme of the song appears in my interpretation in a minor key I found this tune calming, swinging silently from the beginning till the end of the piece."
